Ms. Lacey A. Claver, Student Regent

Term expires May 31, 2009

Appointed by Governor Perry as the university’s student regent beginning June 1, 2008, Lacey Claver is a senior from Joshua, Texas, pursuing a degree in hospitality administration. She is currently serving as director of Jack Camp, as an SFA 101 instructor and as the president of the Traditions Council. She was the president of the Student Activities Association for 2007-08 and chief justice of the Student Government Association from 2005-2007. Ms. Claver received the President’s Volunteer Service Gold Award for more than 300 hours of volunteer service during each of her previous three years at SFA. She was the recipient of the Steve Westbrook Excellence in Leadership Award in 2007 and again in 2008.
