Member Biographies
Mr. Steve D. McCarty
Term expires 2015.
Steve D. McCarty, retired athletic director at SFA, is the community relations officer for BancorpSouth in Alto. Mr. McCarty has earned two degrees from SFA, a bachelor’s degree in education in 1965 and a master’s degree in education in 1970. He serves as chair of the Alto Community Economic Development Council and is a past member of the Northeast Texas Regional Mobility Authority, National Collegiate Athletic Association and the National Association of Collegiate Athletic Directors. He is a member of Masonic Lodge #2 and the Nacogdoches Rotary Club.
