Member Biographies
Mr. Paul G. Pond
Term expires 2009.
Mr. Pond is western regional director of private estates for Stewart Enterprises in Dallas, Texas. He moved to Dallas from Port Arthur, Texas, after selling his business, Greenlawn Memorial Park, a business his family founded and had managed since 1898.
Mr. Pond has been a member and served as chairman of the Texas Funeral Service Commission from 1986-1993. He is a member of the National Association of Cemeteries and has served as president of the Texas Cemeteries Association. He founded the Port-Neches-Groves Educational Foundation. Pond is a graduate of Louisiana State University.
