The Residence Life Department at Stephen F. Austin State University provides rooms for approximately 5,000 students. Living on campus at SFA means living in a community of students. You will be meeting and interacting with many different types of people from different backgrounds, cultures and lifestyles. Each community has residence life staff members to help and support you as you find your place in the community. The staff is well trained, energetic, and dedicated to making your experience living on campus educational and positive.
Our Residence Life Department is committed to equitable, civilized and concerned treatment for all individuals without regard to age, race, religion, gender, creed, physical and mental ability, national origin, or lifestyle. As members of the community, university students enjoy the privileges and share the obligations of the larger community of which the university is a part.
