On April 16th, 2008, freshman and sophomore cadets from the Lumberjack Company conducted rappelling training at the Army ROTC Rappel Tower located on campus. Cadets learned basic and advanced mountaineering techniques from experienced US Army instructors and senior cadets, while building teamwork and self confidence. Following instruction on proper rigging and rappel techniques, the cadets conducted two rappels from 20 and 40 foot platforms.
