LTC Todd Reichert - Chair/Professor of Military Science Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Todd Reichert graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Completing his time at Texas A&M as a Distinguished Military Graduate, LTC Reichert was commissioned into the U.S. Army as an Infantry Officer, and later transitioned to the Military Intelligence field. LTC Reichert also holds a Masters Degree in Management from Central Michigan University. LTC Reichert has served in numerous Army units including the 3rd Infantry Division (Germany), the 82nd Airborne Division (Fort Bragg, North Carolina) and the 10th Mountain Division (Fort Drum, New York). He also served as an ROTC instructor at Texas A&M. While recently assigned to the 10th Mountain Division, LTC Reichert served two tours in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. His decorations include two Bronze Star Medals and two Meritorious Service Medals. He has also earned the Master Parachutist Badge, the Pathfinder Badge, and the Expert Infantryman Badge. |

MSG James Wright - Senior Military Instructor Master Sergeant (MSG) James Wright, a native of Charleston, South Carolina, began his career in the Army in 1983 when he enlisted as a Field Artillery Soldier, and attended Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Throughout his career, MSG Wright has held numerous technical and leadership positions within the Field Artillery branch, including Gunner, Howitzer Section Chief, Drill Sergeant and Battery First Sergeant. MSG Wright has served in a variety of units around the world, including the 4th Infantry Division (Fort Carson, Colorado), the 3rd Infantry Division and 1st Armored Division (both in Germany) and the 25th Infantry Division (Hawaii). He has also served as a unit evaluator at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California, and has held numerous positions at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, including service as a Drill Sergeant. He has participated in numerous deployments, including Bosnia and two deployments to Iraq. His decorations include the Bronze Star Medal and four Meritorious Service Medals. He has also earned the Parachutist Badge, the Air Assault Badge, and the Master Fitness qualification. MSG Wright holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Trinity University. |

CPT K.C. Fricke - Executive Officer (XO) & Enrollment Advisor Captain Kwang C. Fricke was commissioned into the Regular Army as Second Lieutenant in the Quartermaster Corps through the ROTC program at Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas in 2000 and was detailed as an Air Defense Artillery Officer. He is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. His past assignments include: Avenge Platoon Leader and Assistant Operation Officer for 1/2 Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Polk, Louisiana; Petroleum and Water Platoon Leader and Assistant Operations Officer for RSS/ 2 ACR, FT Polk, LA while deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom I servicing 1st Armored Division in 2003. He is a graduate of the Captains’ Career Course at Fort Lee, Virginia then deployed into the Iraqi theater of Operations as a Logistics advisor to the Iraqi Army in 2005. He returned to the United States and Ft Lee, Virginia where he assumed command of a 400-Soldier Military Occupation Specialty Transition unit training Soldiers transferring from the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and other Army MOS specialties into the Army Logistics Branch. Upon completion of his command, CPT Fricke deployed a second time as a Military Advisor to the Iraqi Army and Border Department serving as the team’s Executive Officer. He is currently serving as the Executive Officer for the Department of Military Science at Stephen F. Austin State University. CPT Fricke's awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal (3rd award), the National Defense Service Medal (1BOLC), the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Iraqi Campaign medal (2nd award), the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon (4th award), and the Basic Parachutist Badge. He is also awarded the Spanish Parachutist Badge and German Parachutist Badge. He is fluent in Spanish, Italian and learning Arabic, Iraqi dialect. |

LTC (Retired) John McKinney – Enrollment Advisor/Recruiting Operations Officer (ROO) Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) John E. McKinney graduated from Southern Utah State College with a BS Degree in Biological Sciences in 1980. Commissioned in the Corps of Engineers through OCS, he was dual branched as a Personnel Programs Manager. He completed his master’s degree in Counseling/Student Personnel Services from Radford University in 1983. LTC McKinney has served with units in all three branches of the Army to include 1st Armor Division, 3rd Infantry, 5th Army, two Army Reserve Regional Readiness Commands, and national guard units in Utah and Virginia. He retired in 2007 as an Active Guard Reserve officer after serving in the Corps Staff Engineer Section of III Corps at Fort Hood, TX. His decorations include a Good Conduct Medal and a Legion of Merit. |

CPT Corey Roberts - Assistant Professor of Military Science (APMS) & Military Instructor Captain (CPT) Corey A. Roberts graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and was commissioned into the U.S. Army as a Military Intelligence Officer. Having served four years as an enlisted member of the U.S. Army at Fort Riley, Kansas, CPT Roberts entered ROTC through the Green-to-Gold program. Upon completion of Officer Basic Course at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, he was stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, under the 25th Infantry Division. He served two tours under the 25th ID, one in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and one in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. His decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Parachutist Badge, and the Combat Action Badge. |

Mrs. Peggy Beres - Human Resources Tech Ms Margaret (Peggy) Beres was born in Syracuse, NY. Her military career began in November 1977 when she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Delayed Entry Program as a basic 0100 Administration clerk. Ms Beres reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina for Boot Camp February 1978. Upon completion of Boot Camp she reported to Basic Administration School, also at Parris Island, where she completed Basic Administration School and Personnel Clerks Course. Other military schools completed included Non-Commissioned Officers course, Camp H. M. Smith, Hawaii and Drug and Alcohol Counselors course, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Duty stations included: Woman Recruit Training Command, Parris Island, South Carolina, Camp H. M. Smith, Hawaii, and Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California. Ms Beres attained the rank of Sergeant while in the Marine Corps. Immediately upon release from Active Duty in 1985, Ms Beres went to work for Federal Civil Service. She has worked as a Unit Secretary with the Drug and Alcohol Unit, Naval Hospital, Camp Pendleton, CA, the long term locked Psychiatric Unit, VA Medical Center, North Chicago, IL and the Medical Surgical Unit at Naval Hospital, Great Lakes, IL. In between she has worked with Medical Billing for the Non Naval Medical Command, Great Lakes, IL, Main Operating Room, Naval Hospital, Great Lakes, IL, and as Human Resources Assistant for Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps, Chicago Consortium, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL. Her current position is with the Lumberjack Battalion at Stephen F. Austin State University as the Human Resources Technician. |
