College Life is a Great Balancing Act and there are many resources at SFASU to help you succeed as you step through this adventure. SFA 101 was created to help you make good decisions along this road.

The course helps students lay the bricks for a solid foundation on which to build. Some of the topics covered in the course include:

All entering freshmen should consider this course. This is NOT a remedial course. Many academically able students waste their time in college and sometimes drop out. This course can make the difference between success and failure at SFA.

How do you register for SFA 101? During orientation, tell your faculty adviser that you want to register for SFA 101. Your adviser will list SFA 101 on your adviser slip. When you register, simply request the course CRN # of the section of SFA 101 you want.

Quality Instructors and Student Instructors - the finest faculty and staff are chosen to teach this course. SFA 101 instructors and student instructors become great resources for linking you to many other resources that can help make your college days a positive experience. Student Instructors are junior or senior students who work with the class. They are here to help you succeed.
