Informal Recruitment Sign Up
If you are unable to participate in formal recruitment but are interested in joining a sorority, you may participate in Informal Recruitment (IR). IR is going on now and will continue until all chapters are full. However, it is important to note that not all sororities participate in open recruitment because some are already full.
If you are interested in IR, please complete an interest form, which will be distributed to sororities participating in informal recruitment. Then wait for invitations to sorority open houses and other events. These events will help you get to know the chapters as well as help the chapter members to know you. After you have seen them a couple of times, they then have an opportunity to offer you membership if they feel you are a good fit. Once offered you have the right to accept or regret the invitation. Once you accept an offer you will have to sign a bid card and pay a $20 Panhellenic Association processing fee.
