AlcoholEdu for College is an online alcohol education program that provides alcohol related information and educates students about the dangers of alcohol use and abuse, as well as underage and binge drinking. The program includes detailed information on Blood Alcohol Content (BAC), standard drinks, and signs of alcohol abuse, dependence and poisoning. AlcoholEdu is mandatory for all new SFA students. The program offers a confidential, personalized experience for each student.
In addition to proving preventative education regarding alcohol use, SFA is also committed to educating students and preventing sexual assault. In compliance with the mandates of the Violence Against Women Act, SFA, has opted to use Haven - Understanding Sexual Assault. This module addresses the critical issues of sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking, issues which affect countless college students across the country.
