Student Foundation Membership and Recruitment

Our Membership and Recruitment

Congratulations to the new Spring 2009 members. Membership in The Student Foundation Association is an honor and speaks highly of the character and abilities of the students that are a part of the organization.

Membership Requirements: To be considered for membership, a student must submit an application, transcript, and two letters of recommendation from current faculty or staff within the university community. After the application has been submitted, the student must go through an interview with eth Executive Board and Advisors of The Student Foundation. The prospective member must hold and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5, be in good academic standing, possess and display strong leadership abilities and a respect for the history and traditions of Stephen F. Austin State University, and be willing to serve and represent the university in a manner commensurate with the ideals and values of our organization.
