SFA Parents Association

The SFA Parents Association and Office of Student Life would like to extend a special invitation to you to join other parents and guardians interested in sharing and supporting their student's educational experience. Because we realize that parents are a very important part of the university community, the Parents Association was established to serve as your personal link to Stephen F. Austin State University. One of our principal goals is to provide information that will assist you as you support and share your student's experience at SFASU. We believe that parents are an important part of SFA's support system and through the SFA Parents Association, you can play an active role in your student's accomplishments while building relationships with parents of other students. Student Recruitment

Word of mouth is one of the best ways to let others know about SFA. A great way to get involved with student recruitment is by sharing your positive SFA experiences with prospective students and their parents at your area high school college night.

Roadside Assistance Program

Volunteer to be called on if one of our students needs assistance while on the road. You don't have to know how to change a tire to be included in this program.

Parent Association Meetings

Our biannual meetings are held on campus in the fall during Parents Weekend and in the spring. These meetings offer you the opportunity to interact with other association members and vote on future activities and board members.

Finals "Goodie" Boxes

Twice a year we get together on campus to assemble goodie boxes for our students before their final exams.
