Location and Hours Of OperationID Cards can be obtained in person in the Baker Pattillo Student Center at the Card Services Office, room 1.205. The office is open 8-5 Mon-Fri(extend hours during first weeks of semester).

* Faculty and Staff identification cards are distributed from Card Services and are governed by University Policy.
Requirements for ID CardTo obtain an ID card an individual must be a student, faculty, or staff member of the university. Picture identification or other proof of identity will be required when obtaining an ID card.
ValidationStudent card validation will be done each semester and the student must have paid all previous balances and current semester's tuition and fees. Validation stickers can be obtained at the SFA Business Office, BPSC Information Desk, or the Card Services Office.
Faculty and Staff cards are validated on a yearly basis.
CostsID cards cost $5.00
Special badges(i.e. nursing speech/hearing clinic, etc.) cost $6.00
GuidelinesStudent Id cards are the property of Stephen F. Austin State University and must be presented to the university officials upon request. Student ID cards are for use by the named cardholder only. It is a violation of university policy to present for use a card other than one's own. Lost/found ID cards should be reported to the Card Services office immediately.
UsesStudent ID cards are used to access residence halls, meal plans, and Jack Bucks accounts. These are online services and matters of concern for theses services should be forwarded to the following:

Validated student ID cards also allow access to offline services including the Health Clinic, HPE Complex, Wellness Center, Steen Library, Student Recreation Complex, BPSC Movie Theater, and free admission to regular season athletic events. To gain access to these offline services the ID card must be validated either at the Business Office, BPSC Information desk, or Card Services office.
