Do I need to attend Freshman Orientation?

Yes. We want you to experience orientation just like any other student. You need to make plans to attend one of the orientations scheduled in June only. Go to the Orientation website to sign up for an orientation session. During orientation you will meet with an advisor for your major to plan and register for your fall classes. Do not choose any of the July freshman orientation sessions; you will not be allowed to skip class in order to attend. Anyone not attending one of the June orientations will have to make their own arrangements to be advised and register for fall classes.

Students who do not attend a June orientation are required to attend the mini orientation the day before summer classes begin. This orientation is in addition to the mandatory Jacks PASS welcome meeting scheduled for the same day. You will not be able to meet with your advisor or register for fall classes at this mini orientation.

Can I still attend Jack Camp?

Please contact the Jack Camp Office (936) 468-6411 to learn more about the program or visit the Jack Camp Website for any questions.
