SFA Sustainable Dining Week

SFA's Sustainability Week and National Campus Sustainability Day are approaching quickly! SFA Dining, ODK, and the Student Sustainability Coalition are hosting a few activities going on throughout the entire week (October 21-24) to get you more involved in sustainability on campus!

Environmental Awareness Movement collects your recyclables!

The Environmental Awareness Movement will be at Surfin' Steve statue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on three Wednesdays this semester to collect your items for recycling!

The following items will be accepted:

February 27, 2013- Recylable Fashion Show

6:00PM-8:00PM, SFA's Grand Ballroom in the Student Center
$500 Grand prize and tons of other prizes avaliable

Nacogdoches Naturally

Nacogdoches Naturally is sponsored by SFA Pineywoods Native Plant Center and funded through a More Kids in the Woods Grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture U.S. Forest Service. Activities are designed to increase knowledge of forest ecology and the importance of forests in our lives, encourage participation in healthy outdoor physical activities, and cultivate an enhanced connection to nature.

Programs Offered:

Family Outdoor Adventure - Monthly weekend events for families
After SChool Outdoor Adventure Program - weekly programs during the school year serving the Boys and Girls Club of Nacogdoches and Raguet Elementary
SFA Pineywoods Camp - Summer day camps for youth 4-15 years of age
