Mr. Matthys has been with the SFA School of Theatre for over 30 years. The SFA production of GOOD PERSON OF SETZUAN was his 200th design for the school’s Mainstage. He has designed sets, lights, and costumes continuously since his affiliation with the School. Recent scenic design credits include CHICAGO, KING LEAR, BOYS NEXT DOOR, ARMS AND THE MAN, VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE, DANCING AT LUGHNASA, FOLLIES, and THE BACCHAE.
