S.F.A.'s Student Production Series showcases student directors, designers, playwrights and actors working under faculty supervision in a flexible, "black box" venue, the Downstage Theatre, as well as a small proscenium studio, the Upstage Theater. Productions vary in scale from no-budget ten-minute plays, presented once for an in-house audience, to fully supported one-act and full-length plays, presented to the paying public in multiple ticketed performances.
