The Stephen F. Austin State University Board of Regents (Board) will approve all financial entities that invest funds on behalf of the university. Investment transactions will occur only with financial institutions or firms authorized by the Board or institutions that are approved by the Board to invest funds pursuant to Section 51.0031 of the Texas Education Code (TEC).
The university has contracted with the Texas A&M University System for the investment of its endowment funds. The university has also contracted with the Texas A&M University System in accordance with TEC 51.0031 to invest its operating and quasi-endowment funds.
