Academic Assistance and Resource Center (AARC)
The Academic Assistance and Resource Center (AARC) engages target population in peer-tutoring services correlated with high-risk courses. They create independent learners through the personal attention of tutoring support skills in workshops customized for classes and organizations. Their overarching goal is to contribute to the academic success and retention of the students at Stephen F. Austin State University.
Every student will have accesses to "weekly appointments, walk-in tables, Supplemental Instructions (SI), and Online Writing Labs (OWL)"
