11th: Kick Axe Wellness Challenge registration opens {all dimensions}

This five-week challenge focuses on the following dimensions of wellness:

18th: Securing Your Financial Future seminar/webinar {financial/career}

This event focuses on the financial/career dimension of wellness:

12:30 to 1:15 p.m.
Student Recreation Center Meeting Room and livestream via Zoom

How much should you save each month? What estate planning documents should you have in place? What risks will impact your financial plan, and how should you address them? Planning for a secure financial future does not happen by accident. This session will help guide you in preparing a financial plan to address these questions and many more.

A solid financial plan should address your personal objectives and goals by developing strategies for accumulating wealth, generating retirement income, protecting assets and income, managing taxes, estate planning and funding health care expenses.

Recommended for participants under 50 years of age.

19th: Solving the Retirement Income Puzzle webinar/seminar {financial/career}

This event focuses on the financial/career dimension of wellness:

12:30 to 1:15 p.m.
Student Recreation Center Meeting Room and livestream via Zoom

Creating a plan for reliable income throughout retirement is a daunting task. Social Security, pensions, health care, investments and estate planning may all play a role in your future. Learn about the components that contribute to a successful retirement and how to avoid myriad financial risks.

This session may help you determine when to begin taking Social Security benefits, how to manage investments and savings during volatile times, when to start Medicare, how to reduce taxes and more.

Recommended for participants 50 years of age and older.

This event focuses on all dimensions of wellness:

Who says healthy food can’t be fun? Learn to make veggie dip, chia pudding and date snackers with our resident experts, Jill Hamilton, SFA Dining registered dietitian, and Executive Chef Justin Baunach.
