Master of Education in Secondary Education

Master of Education (M.Ed.) with Content Area Minor

This 36-hour program includes 18 hours in secondary education and 18 hours in the student's chosen teaching field. The degree is designed for people who wish to qualify to teach at a community college, for high school teachers who wish to qualify to teach dual-credit courses on their campuses, or for those wanting to pursue a graduate degree for workplace or community education. All education courses for this degree are offered online, with regular virtual class meetings. The 18-hour core includes the following courses:

The Graduate School will calculate your GPA to determine eligibility. Choose Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Secondary Education. Do not choose Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT).
