Support for a healthy lifestyle
There’s more to college life than hitting the books.
At the Student Recreation Center, you can take care of your mind and your body through wellness activities and services like massage, nutrition and more. Or take care of others by getting certified in first aid or lifeguarding.
Relax and refresh. Ease stress, treat yourself or soothe a sports injury. Book an appointment with a licensed massage therapist for one of our three types of massage: Swedish, sports or deep tissue.
Massages are by appointment only. Visit the Massage Therapy page to reserve a time or learn more about our massage therapy offerings.
Meet with a registered dietitian to discuss nutrition-related topics, including:
- healthy eating
- allergy management
- weight management
- sports nutrition
- and general wellness.
Nutrition consultations are free but by appointment only. Call 936.468.1022 for more information or to schedule a consultation.
SFA’s Wellness Fair is held every fall and spring. The event features a wide range of information, products, health screenings, fitness assessments, healthy snacks and more.
