This Residential Learning Community is an exclusive opportunity for 26 first-year education studies students to explore a broad range of potential careers, get to know James I. Perkins College of Education faculty members, and meet guest speakers and local educators who are leaders in their respective fields.

You will engage in activities that will enhance and promote collaboration with faculty members, academic excellence in your studies, research in the field of education and ethical leadership development.

Participation in this Residential Learning Community offers students a powerful vehicle for transitioning from high school into a university setting, exploring SFA’s education studies degree programs, and preparing for admission into the college.

Located in: Steen Hall

Open to: All freshman education studies majors
