Jacks PASS

Jacks PASS (Pathway to Accelerated Student Success) Program

Jacks PASS is a Summer Alternative Admissions program exclusively for first-time freshmen who did not meet regular SFASU Fall admission standards. Jacks PASS is an amazing program that provides a great academic experience and excellent support network of SFA's best professors!

The academic portion of the program is managed by the Student Success Center. Students will take three courses (7 hours) exclusively with other Jacks PASS students during the Summer. The Jacks PASS Coordinator will register students into two classes (6 hours) from the SFA Core Curriculum. The third course students will be registered for is SFAS 1101 (1 hour), a student success course.

Continued success for Jacks PASS students is a priority for the Student Success Center. All Jacks PASS students are required to attend Freshmen Orientation. Jacks PASS students will receive continued support from peer mentors, professors, and their network of friends as they continue on their Lumberjack journey together.
