Stephen F. Austin State University welcomes groups of guests that would like to bring prospective students to tour the campus! A visit will include an age-appropriate presentation by an admissions counselor that will encompass aspects of academic programs, financial aid, scholarships, on-campus living, and extra-curricular activities which will provide insightful details about the college experience here at SFA.

Groups will need to register at least 3 weeks in advance of the intended date. We can accommodate up to 100 students with 1 chaperone for every 20 students. Reservations are required for tours through our office.

Sample Itinerary

11am to 11:30am Admissions Presentation
11:30am to 12:30pm Campus Tour
12:30pm to 1:30pm Lunch (call 936-468-5208 to make a reservation)
1:30pm Departure

Reservations

Reservations can be made by contacting the Admissions office via email, admissions@sfasu.edu, or by phone, 936-468-2504. If your preferred date is unavailable we can discuss other dates or a self-guided tour option.

Dining

Groups are welcome to eat lunch on campus; however, it is not included in the tour. To make reservations please contact dining services at 936-468-5208.

Residence Hall and Classroom Tours

Residence hall and classroom tours are not included in our large group tours.

Overnight Tours

At this point in time we are not able to offer accommodations to guests that would like to stay overnight on campus. Please visit the Nacogdoches website for a list of local hotels, motels, and Bed and Breakfasts.

Late Arrival Policy

We have made efforts to accommodate your requests based on our staff availability for the date and time indicated. Please make every effort to be on time for scheduled tours or presentations. Activities may need to be shortened or cancelled for groups arriving late.

Parking

Instructions on parking will be provided once your tour has been confirmed.
