El Camino Real de los Tejas Heritage Tourism Workshop

Sunday, March 8, 2009, 9 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Join the Stone Fort Museum and the National Park Service as we explore the Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail in a workshop exclusively for the heritage tourism professional.  Space is limited to 30 participants, and the last day to reserve a space is February 23, 2009.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This workshop is for museum educators, interpretive planners, natural resource managers, visitor bureau staff and volunteers or anyone interpreting the Camino Real de los Tejas as a heritage tourism destination.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
Get the know-how you need to interpret the trail in one and one-half days of intensive learning, sharing and walking the Camino Real.

HOW DO YOU REGISTER?
Registration is $50 per person and includes all sessions, a field trip and four meals.  Participants may bring their registration fee to the workshop, but must pre-register by Monday, February 23rd.
