This program was made possible in part with a grant from Humanities Texas, the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanites.
Gerron Hite from the Texas Historical Commission (THC) gave his presentation, "Legal Protection & Documentation & Documentation of Cemeteries," and Nancy Adgent gave her presentation, "Marker and Monument Motifs & Styles," in the Baker Patillo Student Center on campus and followed up with a hands-on presentation at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Jason Church, "Monument Maintenance," and Debbie Smith, "Vegetation in Cemeteries," from the National Center for Preservation Training & Technology (NCPTT) gave presentations in the Baker Patillo Student Center on campus and followed up with a hands-on demonstration at Oak Grove Cemetery.
