SACS Preparation	2005-2008 *continues through 2011 & beyond	Electronic conversion of Institutional Effectiveness Planning Process; unit plans continue to be developed. Electronic conversion/collection of faculty activity records (including instructional staff roster and electronic faculty transcripts/credentials) and faculty teaching evaluations.* Create financial budgeting scenarios related to release time, additional compensation, additional staffing, etc. Document student outcomes assessment and use of results (electronic access needed)* Establish and maintain regular general education assessment with electronic documentation; show use of results for improvement.* Create/develop website for secure interactive publication of accreditation materials.* Confirm and secure financial budgeting items needed to complete the accreditation process.
Strategic Planning	Jan. 2008 - Sep. 2008	Refocus SFA '08 for new five-year strategic plan
SACS Stage 1	April 2008 - Jan. 2009	Select Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) theme. Name Self-Study Director and Steering Committee. Actively involve faculty, administration, and staff in other SACS site visits. Educate all sectors of campus on the SACS criteria and how each sector is affected. Visits with each unit for update on criteria and to discuss current unit criteria-readiness. Institutional pre-planning and pre-audits.
SACS Stage 2	Jan. 2009 - May 2009	Committee assignments for each area of core requirements and comprehensive standards. Preliminary committee and activity planning.
SACS Stage 3	June 2009 - Aug. 2009	Consideration of ongoing self-study activities.
SACS Stage 4	Sep. 2009 - Sep. 2010	Continue self-study activities. Prepare and submit Compliance Certification Report on compliance with core requirements and comprehensive standards.
SACS Stage 5	Oct. 2010 - Mar. 2011	Review selected QEP theme and modify as necessary. Prepare and submit QEP to Commission on Colleges (SACS). Prepare for and receive the Visiting Committee.
SACS Stage 6	Apr. 2011 - Dec. 2011	Prepare for review and action by the COC.
