Student success Passport

Our Student Success Passport program is a valuable professional development and career readiness opportunity. Students earn points for internships, work experience, résumés, study abroad and student organization leadership. Scholarships are then awarded to top participants in each class.

SFA Dining Etiquette


SFA goes the extra step to help students prepare for job interviews, banquets, galas and other professional dinner settings by offering workshops on the do's and don’ts of dining, including proper attire and how to network with other guests.

Steve Stagner, a 1991 graduate of SFA’s Nelson Rusche College of Business, is Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Mattress Firm, a company that operates more than 3,600 locations across the United States and has hired hundreds of SFA graduates. Stagner has been associated with Mattress Firm since 1995 and became CEO in 2010. He serves on the Rusche College of Business Advisory Council.
