Clubs and organizations can provide you with access to mentoring opportunities, as well as access to resources that will help jump-start your career. SFA has an active chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America and the American Advertising Federation. These groups help students gain the kinds of experience and knowledge employers are looking for.

Concentration in advertising and public relations
Learn about current advertising trends and the fine art of public relations with the emphasis on advertising and public relations. Students pursuing this emphasis will take courses covering topics such as the role of social media, and advertising and public relations principles.
