About

The Toddler I room services thirteen children with ages ranging from one to two years old. There are two full-time teachers and a student assistant in the classroom who care for the children. A learning centers curriculum is introduced and implemented with this age group.

Louann Williams
Lead Teacher

Louann graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Education in 1979. She earned her Master's in Early Childhood Education in May 2013. Louann has been working and learning with young children for over 30 years and joined the Lab School in 1998 as the lead Infant room teacher. In 2004 she began working in the Toddler 1 room and is the master teacher in that room. Louann works as a SFASU adjunct faculty member and is currently teaching the lab of Sensory Motor Development of the Young Child (HMS 241L) for the Human Sciences Department. She is married to Charles Williams and has three children, Whitney, Travis, and Garrett.

Ginny Love
Teacher

Ginny graduated in 2009, from SFASU with a Bachelor's of Science in Child and Family Development and a minor in Early Childhood Intervention. In 2010, she began working at the Early Childhood Lab as a Toddler II teacher. In 2011, she moved to the Pre-K I classroom. Ginny received her Master's in Early Childhood Education in 2012. She began teaching in Toddler I in the summer 2015.
