About

The Pre-K II room services twenty two, four year old children. There are two full-time certified teachers who teach and care for the children. The expanded learning centers curriculum is geared to meet the cognitive, physical and social-emotional needs of this age group. Children continue to build the foundations necessary to learn to read and write as well as developing math and reasoning skills.

Emily Tacquard
Master Teacher

Emily Wilson Tacquard began working at the ECHL as a teacher's assistant in Spring 2006. In Fall 2007, she became the After-school Care Coordinator for kindergarten through fifth grade. Ms. Emily was graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies in May 2008. In June 2008, she officially joined the ECHL family and became a Toddler II teacher. She joined our Pre-Kindergarten II in August of 2010. She completed her masters in Early Childhood with an emphasis in math in August 2011 and became the Pre-Kindergarten II master teacher.

Kacey Busby
Teacher

Kacey Busby began working at the ECHL as a teacher assistant in 2009, and joins the PK II classroom full time in Fall 2011. She earned her Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in December of 2011, from SFASU.
