GRADUATION AS A UNIVERSITY SCHOLAR
Students graduate with the University Scholar distinction if they meet the following conditions:
Have full Honors membership status in the School of Honors.
Complete 24 credit hours of Honors coursework, including 12 credit hours of upper division Honors coursework, with a minimum GPA in Honors courses of 3.0, and no more than two “C” grades. No grade below “C” will count toward Honors course requirements.
Achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25.
Students meeting these criteria will: have their SFA diploma noted “University Scholar”; have their final transcript noted “University Scholar”; receive a second School of Honors diploma and a diploma cover; receive Honors cords and medallion to wear at graduation; and have their name noted in the graduation program.
