Surplus Property Sales
SFA hosts surplus property sales from time to time. When a sale is schedule, the dates and locations will be shown below. To view the items available for sale, click on the links below. All property is sold "as is, where is". Feel free to contact the property managers for more information, 936-468-4618.
Public Sales
In public sales, all items are pre-priced. The property manager shall determine the sale prices and a method of access to sale items which is fair and equitable to all interested parties and which prevents unnecessary traffic on campus prior to the sale. No special privileges will be given to any employee or non-employee wishing to purchase surplus property.
Sealed Bid Sales
When hosting a sealed bid sale, items are bid on by interested parties and awarded to the highest bidder if an award is made. The property manager will prepare a bid sheet providing information about the property, including minimum acceptable bids where appropriate. Interested bidders must submit pricing on the prepared bid sheet and return the bid sheet to the property manager no later than the date and time advertised for opening. The University reserves the right to reject all bids and to re-advertise.
