It is the mission of the Registrar’s Office to: compile, process and maintain accurate academic records for all students currently and previously enrolled; accomplish academic registration and commencement, including degree audit; and provide academic record services as required according to University Policy.

The Graduation Department of the Office of the Registrar provides application toward graduation, maintains degree data for all students making application for graduation, orders diplomas and replacement diplomas and is a source of information regarding degrees which have been conferred.

The Registration Department of the Office of the Registrar provides assistance to the student in the use of the on-line registration system during the registration process.

The Transcript Department of the Office of the Registrar provides students, alumni and former students access to their academic records on file at Stephen F. Austin State University. Information and processing procedures are outlined at this portion of the website to aid in facilitating transcript and course description requests.

For questions about transcripts - Virginia Montes or Pansy Tinkle

The Verification Department of the Office of the Registrar provides verification of the student's status of enrollment, graduation and degrees awarded. This department also makes changes to the student's account regarding names, addresses, Social Security numbers and academic majors and minors.
