If an insurance company or loan provider is requesting proof of your enrollment, you or your parent can request verification.

The Office of the Registrar provides a letter verifying pre-registration any time before the first day of the term. Once a term has begun, the registrar's office can provide a letter to verify enrollment. These are official documents that verify student status (full-time and part-time), dates of attendance and classification for a term.

To request verification, complete the certification of information form.

Any forms provided by insurance companies or loan providers can be brought in person by the student to the registrar's office.

Parent access limitations

Any verifications that require the inclusion of the student's semester credit hours or GPA information must be picked up in person by the student or an individual authorized by FERPA.

Former students, alumni and verification agencies

SFA has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide enrollment and degree verifications.
