The 1938 Raguet-Recknagle home is a two-story, brick, Neoclassical structure. It is an exact replica of the original house that was built on the same spot that burned in 1923. The home has a full-height entry porch has a flat roof supported by four classical columns and only covers three of the five bay facade.

Historical Background

Real estate broker C.M Raguet built the original southern colonial mansion, which was devastated by fire in 1923. George Recknagle rebuilt the current home in 1938 as an exact replica of the original home.
