SFA photographer earns awards at conference

Two recent photographs by Stephen F. Austin State University photographer Hardy Meredith received awards at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education's recent District IV conference in Austin.

Meredith received Special Awards (fourth place) in both the Structured Color Photography and Black-and-White Photography categories for his photos titled "Dr. Deer and Company" and "Header," respectively.

The first photo appeared in a university advertisement in Texas Monthly magazine and depicted Dr. James Kroll, professor of forestry, and three students in a wooded area of campus. The second shows SFA women's soccer player Kelli Wilson taking a shot against an opponent during the 2009 season.
