Skills for a financially rewarding business career
Motivated, skilled sales professionals have opportunity for growth and rapid advancement – and careers in sales are some of the most financially rewarding professions available to new college graduates.
SFA’s Nelson Rusche College of Business offers a minor in sales that provides students with the concepts, tools and practices used in the professional fields of personal selling and management. When you choose the sales minor, you’ll learn the skills necessary to kick-start a thriving and rewarding career in sales. The sales minor combines a foundation in business and marketing with sales skills, including managing a sales team and creating and delivering sales presentations.
Minor in Sales
Students interested in pursuing a sales minor will need to complete the following courses:
- MKT 351, 353, 456
- 9 add’l hours from MKT 355, 358, 360, 425, 454; MGT 383; MKT 475 or MKT 486
