Program descriptions

Wiggles and Giggles Kindermusik

Our Wiggles and Giggles Kindermusik class will provide exactly that for your toddler — and you! Come join us for a time of movement, music and fun as we sing and dance together, learn basic musical concepts, play various rhythm instruments and make new friends! 

Sibling discount

Families with two or more children enrolled in Kindermusik during the summer only pay $60 for each additional sibling.

Piano Improvisation

Students sitting at keyboards learning pianoDiscover the joy of improvisation and take your piano playing skills to the next level at our Piano Improvisation Camp! This camp is designed to help you learn the basics of church music, contemporary lead sheet reading, jazz, rag and blues. Our experienced instructor will guide you through various techniques and exercises to enhance your improvisation skills and help you become a more versatile musician.

You’ll also learn how to perform with other musicians, showcase your skills and have fun making new friends who share your passion for music.

Students will have the option to engage in personalized one-on-one sessions with the instructor for $50, focusing on improvisation skills with greater depth from 1-2 p.m. following the class.

Way Cool Keyboarding for Kids

Instructor showing kids how to playFor beginners, this course introduces students to the joy of making music at the piano. The group environment provides many positive musical and non-musical benefits, including the development of concentration and listening skills.

Strings Project Camp

Strings project performanceLooking to take your string playing to the next level? Look no further than the SFA Strings Project summer camp! Designed for young musicians who play violin, viola, cello or double bass, this program offers a fun and intensive learning experience. Improve your skills, musical knowledge and performance abilities with expert instruction and the opportunity to participate in recreation activities.

You’ll also learn how to perform with other musicians, showcase your skills and make new friends who share your passion for music.

We provide a safe and fun environment for students to learn and grow as musicians. Our campers will have the chance to try out all of the instruments and participate in exciting musical activities. In addition, students will have access to top-quality instruments and equipment for the week.
