The federal government is open for business! However, if you had previously received a notice to halt work, you may not begin until you receive a notice stating such.

Unless your federal grant is covered by an appropriations bill already signed into law, the Federal government shutdown may impact your grant award. Here is a resource page compiled by the University of Minnesota:

Guidance from Federal Agencies Subject to the Partial Shutdown.

Currently, SFA has only been notified of 5 USDA awards that have been impacted, and the relevant persons have been notified.

Proposal submission and report deadlines are not affected.

Please contact Jennifer Hanlon if you have any questions.
