Employees of the Purchasing and Inventory Department at Stephen F. Austin State University recently were honored during Minority Enterprise Development Week in Dallas, an annual event held by the U.S. Department of Commerce's Minority Business Development Agency. SFA was one of two universities in the seven-state region recognized for employing four agents who purchased more than $1 million each in products and services from woman- and minority-owned businesses.
