NACOGDOCHES, Texas — The planetarium in Stephen F. Austin State University’s Cole STEM Building will offer two shows on Saturdays starting Aug. 31.

Learn about the night sky from the characters of “Sesame Street” during “One World, One Sky.” Geared toward children but open to all ages, this interactive show is at 3 p.m., and tickets are $3.

“Life: A Cosmic Story” is scheduled for 4:30 and 7 p.m. It takes audiences from the inside of a plant cell to the vast expanse of the universe. Tickets to this show are $6 for adults and $4 for children, students, and faculty and staff with ID.

“How did life on earth begin? Find out on this journey through time as we explore how all species on Earth are deeply connected,” said Ed Michaels, planetarium director.
