Campus Services

SFA ID Cards

The SFA ID card is a valuable tool students use to access designated on-campus spaces. Students living on campus will need their ID card to enter their residence halls and access their meal plan and Dining Dollars. A valid ID card will also provide access to regular-season home football, basketball, baseball and softball games, as well as the Student Recreation Center, Norton Health and Physical Education complex. SFA ID cards can be used to check out books at the Steen Library and the Nacogdoches Public Library. Certain discounts for fine arts performances, student activities, and local retailers can be obtained with a valid ID card. When purchasing items by check and for book buy-back in the Barnes and Noble Bookstore and when receiving payroll checks at the business office, the student ID card is accepted as proof of identification. Additionally, some computer and language labs require the deposit of an ID card to use various resources.

Guidelines

Student ID cards are the property of the university and must be presented to university officials upon request. Student ID cards are for use by the named cardholder only. It is a violation of university policy to present for use a card other than one's own. Lost/found ID cards should be reported to the Graphic Shop immediately.

Cost

Original ID cards and special badges (nursing, speech/hearing clinic, etc.) are $6. Replacement cards are $15. All charges for new and replacement ID cards will be applied to the student’s eBill.
