Ms. Wanda Bobinger's column "From the Archives" represents Polk County. Bobinger is the curator at the Polk County Memorial Museum. The museum, located in Livingston, Texas, is the responsibility of the Polk County Historical Commission. The Commission's purpose is to locate, mark, restore, preserve and interpret such sites, items, and information which will help future generations to better understand and appreciate their heritage.
