A Message from the Department Chair, Dr. Stephen Mullin

Welcome to the Department of Biology! In addition to a challenging curriculum that can provide you with a solid understanding of the biological sciences, the department offers a variety of opportunities for direct student involvement. These range from hands-on lab and field-based exercises to the execution of research projects from start to finish. The faculty in the department are committed to involving students in experiences that give them practical skills that can be applied to your life beyond SFA.
