Office of Multicultural Affairs Caucus $0$0 $0 $0Mission - The Office of Multicultural Affairs (O.M.A.) Caucus' mission is to advance the areas of diversity, social justice, and multicultural awareness and competence on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University through dialogue and programming. We Strive to create an atmosphere on campus where all faculty, staff, and students feel welcomed, respected, and heard.$0 $0$0 $0 $0Guidelines:$0 $0 $0 $0To remain active in the caucus, all caucus members will be required to attend at least two caucus meetings a semester. Active status will be reviewed by semester.$0 $0All OMA Caucus members will be required to actively serve on at least one caucus subcommittee.$0 $0Along with the OMA Caucus meetings, all members are expected to actively participate within their respective subcommittees. This includes attendance to all subcommittee meetings.$0 $0All OMA Caucus members must indicate if they would like to renew their membership in the OMA Caucus by the end of every academic year.$0 $0As an active participant in the OMA Caucus each member will receive free admission to all OMA events.$0 $0 OMA Caucus Committees: $0 $0$0 $0 $0Speaker Series - the Speaker Series Committee shall be responsible for planning and evaluating various speaker series events. The series will focus on various diversity related topics and will be aimed at SFA faculty, staff and students.$0 $0Diversity Conference - the Diversity Conference Committee will work alongside the OMA Staff to select Diversity Conference themes and speakers, serve as proposal reviewers, obtain sponsorships and market the OMA Diversity Conference.$0 $0Culture & Diversity Committee - this committee serves as an advisory committee to ensure that the Office of Multicultural Affairs is addressing the needs of SFA's diverse population through programming and resources.$0
