SFA's Rusche College of Business to present Evening with Executives
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin State University's Rusche College of Business is hosting an Evening with Executives at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, in the McGee Building, Room 133, on the university campus.
Citizens National Bank CEO Brad Tidwell and his executive team will provide a "State of the Industry" address in which Tidwell will discuss his views of the banking industry and economy. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions after the address.

SFA Gardens to host fall plant sale
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin State University's SFA Gardens will host its annual Fabulous Fall Festival Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center, 2900 Raguet St., in historic Nacogdoches.
The sale will feature a variety of hard-to-find, "Texas-tough" plants, including Texas natives, heirlooms, tropicals, perennials, shrubs, trees and exclusive SFA introductions. Most of the featured plants are extensively trialed before being offered to the public and are produced by staff members and volunteers of the SFA Gardens.
SFA launches new scholarship management system to streamline application process
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin State University recently launched a new scholarship management system to help provide students with a streamlined tool to search and apply for scholarships.
AcademicWorks, a comprehensive, integrated scholarship management system, simplifies awarding scholarships and facilitates the move toward centralizing the university's scholarship management in SFA's Office of Student Financial Assistance.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin State University Office of Multicultural Affairs has developed a new series allowing for open and honest discussion of difficult topics among the SFA and Nacogdoches communities.
Touching on racial tensions, police relations and LGBT issues, the first Brave Space Series will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, in the Multimedia Room on the second floor of the Baker Pattillo Student Center.
