Major Field Test (MFT)

Testing Services offers Major Field Testing for current SFA biology students during each fall and spring semester. There is no charge to take this exam. The scheduling window for the Biology MFT is determined by the SFA Department of Biology. To complete the test at the SFA testing center, students must: 

  • Call Testing Services at (936) 468-3958 to schedule either a morning or afternoon test during the scheduling window set by the department. 
  • Bring a photo ID to the testing appointment.
