Commercial Music Ensemble

The Commercial Music Ensemble is a performance ensemble dedicated to recently-released commercial music, generally defined as currently marketed music – this typically refers to music that is 18-months or newer and marketed toward general audiences.

Because of this, the ensemble’s performance materials change as trends and music interest shift in our mainstream culture. This ensemble gives participants an opportunity to work with a vast, recent and ever-changing selection of material. Although performers typically consist of sound recording technology majors, the ensemble is open to all School of Music majors.
