SFA-TV2, the Stephen F. Austin State University television station, will air holiday shows continuously each evening through Christmas. The programs were produced by students in Dr. Al Greule's television-production courses.

The RHA Holiday Extravaganza features performances by Soul to Soul Gospel Choir, the SFA Choir and the Raguet Elementary School Choir and holiday music from the SFA band. The show ends with the lighting of the Christmas tree located in front of the Austin Building.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -The Stephen F. Austin State University Charter School is seeking applicants to fill approximately 70 student slots, which will become available in fall 2009 when the school moves to its new facility.

NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - Art galleries operated by the Stephen F. Austin State University School of Art will be closed for a portion of the university's semester break.

The Ed and Gwen Cole Art Center @ The Old Opera House, 329 E. Main St. in downtown Nacogdoches, will be closed Sunday, Dec. 21, through Friday, Jan. 2. It will resume its normal hours of 12:30 to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, on Saturday, Jan. 3.

Scholarships are available at Stephen F. Austin State University for bilingual students pursuing a Master of Social Work degree and seeking a career in mental health in Texas after graduation.

"Two scholarships were awarded in the fall semester, and a third is available through competition for a student beginning the MSW program at SFA in the spring 2009 semester," said Sharon Templeman, SFA associate professor of social work and director of the master's degree program.
